Aman Group is accelerating the global rise of its lifestyle-driven luxury brand, Janu, with a major new development unveiled for the UAE. The newly announced Janu Al Marjan Island will become the brand’s second property in the Emirates, adding fresh energy to Ras Al Khaimah’s booming luxury landscape. The launch follows strong momentum from Janu Tokyo’s debut and the ongoing development of Janu Dubai, which is slated to open in 2029. This Global Hotel News report highlights how the expansion signals a new phase for the rapidly growing brand as it builds a collection of spirited, community-oriented destinations.

A Vibrant New Waterfront Destination in Ras Al Khaimah
Designed by Singapore’s acclaimed SCDA Architects, Janu Al Marjan Island will feature a 132-key hotel positioned to capture sweeping sea views. The resort will embrace Janu’s signature approach to relaxed social luxury, offering a wellness centre with yoga studio, banya, hammam, gym and sauna, alongside two signature restaurants, a Mixology Bar, a lively nightlife venue and a dedicated Kids’ Club. Outdoors, guests can enjoy a private beach, beach club, and pool that connect seamlessly to the island’s waterfront lifestyle.
Adjacent to the hotel, a residential tower will house Janu Residences, providing one- to five-bedroom homes and a limited number of villas. These residences offer full access to the resort’s amenities and sit close to Al Marjan’s marina and major upcoming attractions, including the Wynn integrated resort.
A Pipeline Stretching from Saudi Arabia to the Caribbean
The Ras Al Khaimah project expands a robust global pipeline. In Saudi Arabia, the 120-room Janu Diriyah will open in autumn 2026 near the UNESCO-listed At-Turaif district, followed by the 250-room Janu AlUla in late 2027. In Turks & Caicos, a resort and branded residences near Northwest Point Marine National Park will debut in early 2027, offering pristine beaches and a nature-driven experience. Janu Dubai, the brand’s first UAE development, will introduce 150 rooms in a distinctive urban tower by 2029.
Aman’s Growing Influence Worldwide
Janu stands as Aman’s soulful sister brand, created to deliver vibrant, socially engaging luxury. Aman itself continues expanding with major projects underway across Mexico, the USA and Asia. Together, the two brands strengthen the group’s position as one of the world’s most influential luxury hospitality players.
The growing strength of Janu reflects a global demand for destinations that combine contemporary lifestyle appeal, meaningful social connection and world-class design. This expanding footprint indicates that the brand is poised to reshape luxury travel for a new generation, offering dynamic experiences anchored in community, wellness and connection across some of the world’s most compelling settings.
