In this Pattaya Hotel in Spotlight news report, the property stands out not just for its striking visuals but for its ambition to redefine how themed hotels can elevate a destination. Developed by LH Mall & Hotel, the project was conceived as part of a wider vision to position Pattaya as a creative tourism hub in the Gulf of Thailand, appealing to families, couples, and experience driven travelers alike.

A Vision Inspired by Space Travel

Billed as Thailand’s first fully space themed hotel, Grande Centre Point Space Pattaya builds on the success of its airport terminal themed sister property and the nearby Terminal 21 shopping complex. The concept draws heavily on science fiction, space exploration, and futuristic travel, weaving these ideas seamlessly into architecture, interiors, and guest activities. Rather than feeling gimmicky, the theme is executed with a sense of polish and scale that makes it feel immersive and refined.

Architectural Design and Room Offerings

Designed by Palmer and Turner Thailand, the hotel structure resembles a colossal space shuttle anchored along the coast. Its kinetic façade, made up of approximately 30,000 perforated metal pieces, subtly reacts to sea breezes, creating the illusion of rolling waves across the building’s surface. Inside, the property offers 490 spacious rooms and suites, each with private balconies overlooking Pattaya Bay and its dramatic sunsets.

Guests can choose from five room categories, ranging from Space Deluxe to expansive Space Suite Connex options, with sizes spanning from 45 to 133 square metres. Each room balances futuristic aesthetics with practical comfort, making them equally suitable for short leisure breaks or longer family stays.

Immersive Interiors and Public Spaces

Interior Vision brought the space travel narrative to life through interiors that feel cinematic yet welcoming. The arrival lobby sets the tone with gleaming metallic surfaces, cool blue lighting, and meteorite inspired installations suspended overhead. Walkways feature large interactive touch screen walls that transform learning about planets and galaxies into an engaging activity for all ages.

Outside, landscape designers from Green Architects created illuminated gardens and pathways that glow after dark, mimicking cosmic colors. These spaces naturally lead guests toward one of the hotel’s major highlights, the expansive Space Water Park.

Space Water Park

Covering more than 12,000 square meters, the Space Water Park is divided into four themed zones. The Mountain Zone offers a relaxed experience with a 330 meter lazy river, cave pool, and jungle style jacuzzi. Thrill seekers gravitate toward The Flying Rock Zone, home to towering slides and a lively splash tower for children.

The Space Pirate Beach Zone introduces artificial waves alongside casual street food and drinks, while the Planet Zone features a solar system inspired mini golf course, planet pool, and amphitheater that hosts foam parties and family activities. Dry attractions include the Astro Club, a cockpit styled games lounge, and the Gravity Fit Club, a modern fitness center equipped with Technogym innovations and panoramic sea views.

Wellness and Spa with a View

On the seventh floor, Let’s Relax Onsen and Spa offers a calming contrast to the high energy attractions. Spanning more than 3,000 square meters, it is Pattaya’s first Onsen with a full 360 degree sea view. Five soaking pools provide varied experiences, complemented by traditional Akasuri scrub services that focus on relaxation and rejuvenation.

Dining Above the City

Dining at the hotel is led by the Sola and Luna rooftop restaurant, where breakfast is served daily from early morning until mid-morning. The buffet covers Thai, Western, Chinese, and Japanese favorites, ranging from braised pork rice and shrimp congee to pastries, cheeses, and fresh salads, all enjoyed against sweeping views of the coastline.

A Destination in Itself

Located in the heart of North Pattaya, approximately 800 meters from the beach, the hotel is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, convenience stores, and major attractions, making it easy to explore without a car.

Grande Centre Point Space Pattaya succeeds in being more than a themed hotel. It delivers a carefully crafted experience that combines imaginative design, extensive facilities, and genuine comfort. For families, it offers endless activities. For couples, it delivers memorable views and unique surroundings. For Pattaya, it represents a confident step toward more experiential, destination defining hospitality that leaves a lasting impression long after check out.
