Developed in partnership with Nova Park Company Limited, the hotel aims to bring a fresh, midscale experience to both business and leisure travelers. Pattaya continues to attract investment from major global hotel brands due to its proximity to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, scenic beaches, and thriving nightlife. The addition of Garner Hotel Pattaya Central will make it IHG’s fourth property in the city, joining the InterContinental Pattaya Resort, Holiday Inn Pattaya, and Holiday Inn Express Pattaya Central. This expansion underscores the group’s confidence in Pattaya as a leading tourism and business hub on Thailand’s eastern seaboard.

Garner’s Rapid Global Growth

The Garner brand, which debuted in 2023, has quickly gained traction with 51 operational hotels worldwide in countries such as Japan, Germany, and the United States. With 87 more properties in development, IHG’s introduction of Garner into Southeast Asia aligns with the company’s broader strategy to capture the midscale market segment, appealing to travelers seeking affordability without compromising on comfort or service.

Strengthening IHG’s Thai Portfolio

Thailand remains one of IHG’s strongest markets, currently boasting 40 operational hotels and 41 more in the pipeline. The Garner Hotel Pattaya Central will contribute to the brand’s continued dominance and reflects the region’s high demand for conversion-friendly, fast-launch hotel models. This approach has been particularly successful for IHG, with conversions making up a large percentage of new openings in the first half of 2025.

With this launch, IHG is reinforcing its position as a key player in Southeast Asia’s dynamic hospitality scene, while offering travelers more choices in one of Thailand’s most visited coastal destinations. The move also signals growing investor confidence in Pattaya’s long-term tourism potential, blending the city’s leisure appeal with IHG’s trusted brand reputation.
