Authorities say the discovery of the motorcycle, allegedly dismantled and buried, provided investigators with crucial evidence that ultimately led them to two suspects.
Two Suspects Arrested While Allegedly Attempting to Flee
Thai police identified the suspects as Thanana, 43, also known as Pong, and Thongchai, 39, also known as Thong. Both men were arrested in Wang Sombun district of Sa Kaeo province after investigators tracked their movements.
Police said one suspect was apprehended near Wang Sombun Hospital, while the other was reportedly captured after abandoning a motorcycle and attempting to escape into nearby woodland. Authorities also stated that weapons, including a .38-calibre handgun and two hand grenades, were allegedly recovered during the operation.
Investigators say both men have provided statements during questioning. However, police stress that the investigation remains ongoing and that all evidence is continuing to be examined before the case proceeds through the courts.
Alleged Motive Was Motorcycle Robbery
According to investigators, the suspects allegedly admitted that they intended to steal the victims’ Honda ADV 150 motorcycle but encountered resistance.
Police allege that Roman Nazimova was fatally shot during the confrontation, while his sister Diana allegedly died after being assaulted and boxed by the Thais. Officers further claim the suspects transported the bodies to an area near the foot of Khao Chi Chan in Chonburi, where they were reportedly buried in an attempt to conceal the crime.

Investigators also allege that the motorcycle was dismantled and buried separately before the suspects fled the province.
Following the arrests, police escorted both suspects back to Chonburi to identify locations believed to be connected with the investigation, including the reported burial site.
